Browse the old phone books.

Search names, sysops, locations, software and exact historical numbers. Repeated board names are folded into one result; source tabs preserve every matching edition and pair original-host links with our local mirrors and runnable DOS releases.

Preserved files beside derivatives.

The mirrored TXT and HTML files and three original Roblist ZIPs are preserved byte-for-byte. The February 1996 ZIP reconstructs the eight-file backup exactly as found and is labelled separately. Sizes and SHA-256 digests are recorded in the local JSON manifest, so a parser mistake can always be checked against the source.

“Run in DOS” uses a local, pinned js-dos runtime and a derivative launch bundle containing the unchanged release files plus a DOSBox startup configuration. Nothing is uploaded to an emulator service.

The HMVH consolidated directory combines many historical sources and was updated in 2022; it is useful context, but not a contemporary 1990s edition. Record totals are snapshots rather than unique-board counts.
