Hi there - it's only my second day on OS/2, so I'm not a funie yet. (Self
confidence ;) ) so I would appreciate some help from those who are...
I am running using OS/2 for Windows, a NEC CD-ROM (double speed - no idea of
model number) and a 535MB HHD (both of these are SCSIs running through my
SB16 SCSI-2 ASPI, which utilitises the Adaptec AHA-1522 chip... and I use
that driver.)
No, here's the prob... If I do not use my CDROM, the system works fine - it
loads and I have access to my Digital HDD (the 535MB), but if I enable my
CDROM, at the OS/2 logo screen, my CDROM's 'busy' light turns on, stays on,
and OS/2 is 'dead'.
If it makes a different, I temporarily booting off an IDE drive and will
soon be booting from a floppy with OS/2 and all on the Digital, if if this
is even possible. (IDE drive is not mine...)
Thanks in advance.
Cheers
Gaven
