SM> Hello. We have a small company that would like to change
SM> software. Currently, we are using the MajorBBS, and would like
SM> to change, due to the cost of the software.

SM> At this time, we have an 8 port Digiboard (known as a
SM> Galactiboard for those of you GCommer's), a 486SX25, 400 MB Disk
SM> Space, and 8 14.4k's, plus a 6-Disc CD Rom player/

SM> We're looking for a BBS software that can handle the 8 lines
SM> without having to go to a network, and without the Windows
SM> problems (unless it works good!).

WildCat! BBS Intelligent Multiport (v3) or WildCat! BBS Multiline
Platinum (v4) support all the PC/Xe and PC/Xi DigiBoards... it has
direct DigiBoard support, and does not have to go through a fossil.

It allows you have up to eight incoming lines on one computer by
utilizing the DigiBoard's power. It can run on basically any
multitasking environment that uses DOS SHARE (or compatible type thing)
or Novell (but you don't want a network!) It has internal time slicing
support for Desqview (most recommended), OS/2, and Windows (don't be
daft!)

Cheers
Gaven
