EP>1. Is there a better book I can purchase to help me understand how to
EP>set up the bbs.

I think I saw one once, but I do not remember any names or anything.

EP>2. The software come with some pre designed file areas. About five of
EP>them. I created some more by making a dir under xfers and I put some
EP>files in it. But when I sign on as a full user to test it out the new
EP>file areas are not listed. I did run WCfile and the files seem to add
EP>themselves but they don't show up when I sign on as a fill user or the
EP>sysop.

Go to the various security profiles and allow the access to these file
areas.

EP>3. When I sign on as a sysop and in the sysop menu there is a menu
EP>chose Drop to Dos. But it doesn't take me to DOS. I t doesn't do
EP>anything. I know when I place the computer in the church and when I
EP>call in as a sysop to do maintenance I'll need to go to DOS.

You must setup a 'dropdos.bat' file in your batch directory. To allow
remote users (i.e. yourself from home) to drop 2 dos, you'll need a
redirector. WildCat! comes with it's own (WCREDIR.EXE I think) but the
recommended choice by both many users and MSI is DOORWAY by Marshall
Dudley.

Cheers
Gaven
